Artist Haven Gallery December Exhibition The Artists Haven Gallery will be featuring eight works in a group exhibition in the upcoming December, 2010. Two of her works: Kayaking the Allegash, a bold siloette of a man kayaking in the highlands of the Maine allegash admisdst a turbulent sunset filled with bold rich colour and Strolling thru Quebec a contemporary, modern style work of hers of a man strolling through the streets of the old city of Quebec City, Canada, are already at the gallery. In addition, they will be showing Race Day a kinetetic, abstract, and highly energergetic piece of a man riding a horse at a full gallop; Song of Mischief from the 2009 Songs of the Son Series -- a song of my son's mischief on a beach on the Maine coast while he is playing; Song of the Sleeper -- a portait of a boy and his father sleeping in a chair; Fox Junior -- a large whimsical piece of a fox leaning against a tree; Into the Woods a large work based on a fairytale of a black cloaked lady carrying a red basket through a dark cluster of forest; The Bather -- the work is not on the website, it is a smaller work 22" x 28" of a child bathing outside with his mother watching over him, an older work completed in 1991.

Roof!! I have been procrastinating getting a new roof and have need one for over 10 years. Well, with the snow and winds lately and 10 years of patching, things are looking well rather leaky. SNMFA Masters exhibit Feb 20-Avr 4, 2010 The works of D. Loren Champlin will appear at the Southern Nevada Museum of Fine Art in Las Vegas, NV. A press release with further details may be found at SNMFA Press Release. All works will be for sale thru the museum.

Direct Sales: Currently the e-commerce portion of this site has been deactivated. You may still purchase prints or originals directly from the artist at Etsy which the artist directly supervises sales and transactions and there is a wide selection of paintings there, moreso than what is found here here. In addition, you may puchase via our own merchant account by contacting the artist directly. Prices are always negotiable no matter where you purchase the work.
As always, you may still purchase works via Agora gallery, The Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, Absolute Arts, or The Fuschia Tree. All have very reputable staff and will be happy to work with your situation.
